I watched the Vipers game on my computer this evening. This was an entertaining hockey game. The Vipers jumped out to a 2-0 1st period lead and played with the lead the entire contest. At times the Snakes looked good and at times the Smoke Eaters looked real good. I thought Trail had a bit of the edge in play more then Vernon. Roan Clarke with a big bounce back game, was solid between the pipes for the Vipers. Vernon's defence was also strong in the 3rd, blocking shots and keeping the Smokies to the outside. A big win considering the Snakes move eight points up on 8th place Trail. The Vipers get a rare win on the road, just their seventh road win of the season. The Vipers road trip continues with back to back games next weekend in Prince George.
8 pt up on Trail what a homer comment, that means they get knocked off by Cranbrook instead of Penticton.....Lol
