The Vernon Vipers improve to 18-17-0-4 after a 4-1 victory over the 15-18-2-3 Trail Smoke Eaters in front of 1,864 fans at the Cominco Arena.

I watched the Vipers-Smoke Eaters game on my computer. This was a good/entertaining hockey game. I thought the Smoke Eaters had a bit of an edge in play for the 1st period and parts of the 2nd period. The Vipers finished well to end the 2nd period and played very well in the 3rd. The Vipers PK was very good this evening as was Ethan David. A huge win and a big win on the road where the Snakes haven't had much luck winning. Tonight was Vernon's fifth win on the road this year and only their third win on the road in their last thirteen road games. Another big game test/game tomorrow in Cranbrook. Nice to see some Viper fans in attendance tonight.
