Paltridge scored at 3:40 of double overtime, giving the Penticton Vees a 3-2 double overtime victory over the visiting Vernon Vipers in front of 4,522 fans at the South Okanagan Events Centre. With the win, the Vees snapped the Vipers franchise/BCHL record 17 road game winning streak. Vernon outshot Penticton 39-28 Sean Bonar made 37 saves in the win, while Graeme Gordon made 25 saves in the loss.
