News broke loose of Rainville joining the Vipers on September 16th 2020 after spending the past two seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with Sheerbroke & Gatineau.. Rainville collected one goal & 1 assist in 8 pre-season games with the Vipers.

No official word on what happened with Jeremy Rainville but my guess is he was cut/released after all the transactions today. Without fans allowed to attend and watch games this year, it's really hard at times to get a good look or read on a player after only watching him play on Hockey TV/computer screen. In the 8 games he played with the Vipers this year, he didn't really stand out or help offensively. If I recall I think I remember him having one good game and maybe a few good shifts in another game, but other wise didn't really stand out.
