The 0-4-0-0 Vernon Vipers are coming off a 4-1 loss Saturday to the visiting Penticton Vees. The Vipers are coming off back to back losses to the Penticton Vees in a home & home series last week/weekend. Tonight's the first game of a home & home series with the Silverbacks. The 1-3-0-0 Salmon Arm Silverbacks make there first pre-season visit to Kal Tire Place, are coming off a 3-2 loss at home Saturday to the visiting West Kelowna Warriors. The Silverbacks split the home & home series with a win in West Kelowna Friday. The Backs went 1-0-1-1 in Vernon during the 2019-20 regular season, only beat the Snakes once out of six regular season meetings. Salmon Arm is 1-1 on the road during the Okanagan Cup but 0-2 on home ice this season. The Silverbacks have six players returning from last years team. These two teams will meet again Saturday in Salmon Arm.
