Andrusiak spent the past three seasons in the Western Hockey League with Seattle, Prince Albert & Everett.
The Vipers signed Andrusiak October 1st 2015 after being released from the WHL Tri-City Americans. Andrusiak played in 11 games picking up two assists before being released November 5th 2015.

BOISE, Idaho – Forward Zack Andrusiak has agreed to terms with the Zack Andrusiak for the 2019-20 season, joining the organization for his first professional season.
The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Dallas Stars and the American Hockey League's Texas Stars.
Andrusiak played 63 games in the Western Hockey League between the Everett Silvertips and Seattle Thunderbirds during the 2018-19 season, boasting 64 points (38g-26a). The Armstrong, British Columbia native finished second on the Silvertips in goals and third in scoring while recording his second-straight 25-goal, 60-point season in the WHL. Over his 202 career WHL games beginning in 2014-15, Andrusiak posted 149 points (80g-69a) and helped the Thunderbirds to the 2017 WHL championship.
