Everblades Release Former Vipers Defenceman Robertson:

The East Coast Hockey League Florida Everblades have released former Vernon Vipers defenceman Sean Robertson.

Robertson started the season with the East Coast Hockey League Reading Royals, signing a tryout agreement September 29th 2017 attended the Royals training camp never played a game before being released, signed with the Southern Professional Hockey League Fayetteville Marksmen in mid October. Robertson played just one game with the Marksmen collecting two assists was either traded or released before signing with the Reading Royals October 26 2017 for a second time this season. Robertson picked up one assist in one game with the Royals before being released for a second time this season October 30th 2017. Robertson signed with the Everblades November 3rd 2017 had just one assist in two games.

Robertson spent last season with the East Coast Hockey League Utah Grizzlies & Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) Fayetteville FireAntz.

Robertson played In 11 games with Merrimack College during the 2012-13 season before leaving for the University of Guelph. Robertson spent his first six seasons playing for the Victoria Grizzlies before being traded to Vernon in his final year of Junior hockey. On December 12th 2011 the Vipers traded Zach McPhee and future considerations to Victoria for Robertson.  In 31 games with the Vipers Robertson collected (0-goals-4-assists-4-points).

Booth and Smallman Reassigned to Everblades

ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Wednesday that goaltender Callum Booth and forward Spencer Smallman have been reassigned to the team by the Carolina Hurricanes (NHL) from the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL).  As a result of these roster moves, the Everblades have traded goaltender Tyler Parks to the Tulsa Oilers (ECHL) in exchange for future considerations.  In addition, the team has released defenseman Sean Robertson.
