Penticton Vees forward Nic Jones has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending April 2, the league announced Monday.
Jones racked up three goals and four helpers for seven points in three games as the Vees got past the Merritt Centennials in Round 2 and opened up the Interior finals against Vernon. In a do-or-die Game 7 on home ice against Merritt, Jones came through with two goals – including the winner – plus two helpers and was named 1st Star.
