I was tonight's game. The committment level to winning wasn't as good tonight. In my opinion the Vernon Vipers were content to playing pond hockey in the first period. As a team you have be playing every team in this league as a seventh playoff game. Because guess what Vernon Vipers, if you don't start thinking that now you will, Trust me , be out of it in the first round of playoffs. Guess What? After watching how you played tonight, you really are just an average BCJHL team. Unless you wake up and realize that the parity in this league is very even and any team at anytime can take a win from you, THEN you are in dreamland. I would ask you to think about what has brought you success. Trying to be a team with style will lose you more games than winning games. I think you have to realize in this league what wins games is hard work, playing your systems, believing in what your coaches say as they have all been winners and been to the big party. Vernon Vipers , I think you are getting ahead of yourselves. As a player in other leagues you must earn your minutes on the ice. So as a team you must earn your wins and not take it for granted that you will win everytime. This is very evident in the last two games that you have played. As a team you have not shown that 60 minutes of effort that is required to have a chance of winning games. My final comment to you VERNON VIPERS, is wake up and play a full 60 minutes because it is evident to us as fans that your effort just isn't there. I find that very boring to watch and disapppointing. Please put in the effort that has made you successful. Because with these last two game, your not. And it is not acceptable. GO, Viper, Go.
