January 30, 2017
Vernon Vipers goalie Darion Hanson has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending January 29, the league announced Monday.
Hanson stopped 112 of the 116 shots that came his way in three games while earning two wins, one of them a shutout, and a tie. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound netminder began his week making 40 saves and taking 3rd Star in a 3-3 draw in Penticton.
