Stout snags BCHL POW

Coquitlam Express forward Owen Stout has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending October 23, the league announced Monday.
Stout had two goals and three assists in helping the Express to four of a possible six points. The West Vancouver native had two helpers in a 3-2 defeat of West Kelowna where he was named 3rd Star. He followed that up with a pair of tallies, including the game-winner, plus an assist and 1st Star in a 5-4 win over Wenatchee. He was also named the FortisBC Energy Player of the Game in that contest.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound forward is now sixth in BCHL scoring and is second in the league with 17 assists.
