Thank You Vipers:

This was in todays Morning Star Newspaper:

Thank you Vipers
Apr 5, 2015

To Mark, Kevin, Eric and the Vipers players

We would like to commend you for providing us with a most enjoyable season of hockey.  From a rather disruptive start, the team jelled into a cohesive, committed unit that left it all on the ice in the final game.

The entire season offered an exciting, entertaining brand of hockey.  It was a thrill to watch the boys take such huge strides in their development as players and young men.

Thank you to the players who came from elsewhere to play in our city.  We hope you enjoyed your Okanagan experience. It was a pleasure having you.

To the seniors who are leaving, we wish you much success in your future endeavours.  To the core of Vipers returning, we can’t wait to see you in September.

Thank you all for a great season of hockey.

Julie and Gord McIntosh,
Fran and Deniss Sponholz,

Vipers season ticket holders

I too would like to thank the Vernon Vipers organization & their coaching staff (Mark Ferner, Eroc Godard & Kevin Kraus) on providing Viper fans with a great, exciting 2014-15 season!

After the last three seasons this years Vernon Vipers was very exciting to watch, grow, develop, improve game to game and through out the season and build as a team that come along ways from the start of the season.

Remember this was Jason Williamson's team, that he recruited-picked for this season before leaving the team two games into the pre-season. Kevin Kraus & Eric Godard took over the bench until Mark Ferner signed and joined the Vipers three games into the regular season. That goes to show you the great job Mark and the Vipers coaching staff did with the kids they had.

Give the Vipers full credit for battling hard and playing their hearts out in a devistating Game 7 loss in Penticton to end their season. This team only beat Penticton once during the regular season forced the Vees to seven games. Who would have saw this coming?

You have to wonder with Mark Ferner now having a season with the Vipers, will have done his own recruiting, will have the players he wants for next season. Im really excited and looking forward to next season already.

Thank you Vipers for some great memories and a great season!
