Lets take a look at the Nanaimo Clippers:

The Nanaimo Clippers won their second straight after a 5-2 win over the visiting Alberni Valley Bulldogs Friday evening.  The Clippers sit atop the Island Division second overall in the BCHL nine points back of league leading Penticton.  Nanaimo is ten points up on 2nd place Powell River has lost three of their last five games and are 6-3-0-1 in their last ten.  The Clippers are lead by former Vernon Vipers Head Coach-GM Mike Vandekamp who is in his fourth season with Nanaimo.  Tonight is the first of two meetings between these two teams as Nanaimo will travel and play in Vernon on February 14th. 

Sheldon Rempal (17-15-32) leads the Clippers in goals with seventeen while Jacob Jackson (14-20-34) leads the Clippers in points with thirty four.
