Lets take a look at the Vernon Vipers:

The Vernon Vipers will play their final game of the regular season tonight, finishing the 2012-13 season at home to Merritt.  The 6th place Vipers are going to miss the BCHL playoffs for a second straight season.  The Vipers have won three straight for the second time all season are coming off a 3-2 win over the visiting Penticton Vees last night.  Vernon going for their first four game winning streak of the season tonight.  This is the second meeting of the week between the Centennials and Vipers after Vernon knocked off the Cents 2-1 in Merritt Wednesday night.  The Vipers have won three of their last five and are 5-3-0-2 in their last ten games.

The Merritt Centennials make their third and final visit to the Wesbild Centre are coming off a 5-4 OT loss at home to Salmon Arm last night.  The Centennials sit tied for 2nd place with West Kelowna who plays their final game in Cowichan Valley tonight.  Merritt has struggled as of late dropping three straight and going winless in their last five games.  The Cents have just two wins in their last seven.  The Cents are 4-4-1-1 in their last ten games.  Who ever clinches second place will get home ice advantage between West Kelowna & Merritt in the opening round of the BCHL playoffs.
