Merner played one season in Vernon with the 2022-23 Vernon Vipers. In 38 games with the Vipers, Merner collected (3-goals-7-assists-10-points). Merner left the Vernon Vipers to sign with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Sherwood Park Crusaders June 6th 2023.

Ferner spent the past four seasons coaching in Kelowna with RINK Hockey Academy.

Ferner played three seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Kamloops Junior Oilers/Kamloops Blazers from 1982-1985 before signing his first professional contract with the American Hockey League Rochester Americans in 1985 before making his NHL debut with the Buffalo Sabres in 1986. Ferner was drafted #21 by the Expansion Anaheim Mighty Ducks at the 1993 NHL Expansion Draft. Ferner played fourteen seasons in the American Hockey League and International Hockey League from 1985-2001 with nine different teams and parts of six seasons in the NHL with Buffalo, Washington, Detroit and Anaheim. 

Ferner got into coaching in 2000. Ferner joined the Vernon Vipers in 2007 after three seasons with the Western Hockey League Kamloops Blazers. Ferner spent nine seasons with the Vernon Vipers as Head Coach, General Manager and Director of Hockey Operations from 2007-2011 & 2014-2019. After four years with the Vipers Ferner left Vernon in 2011 for the Western Hockey League Everett Silvertips. After being let go in Everett, Ferner returned to Vernon in 2014 before his contract ended in 2019. Ferner spent the 2019-20 season as scout with the Buffalo Sabres before being fired after one season.

Mick spent the 2020-21 season as Head Coach of the Philadelphia Hockey Club 16U team. Prior to coaching in Philadelphia, Mick spent six seasons in the BCHL with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks from 2012-2018 as General Manager, Head Coach and President and part owner.

Mick was also involved in coaching in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League & Western Hockey League with Revelstoke, Portland, Kamloops & Tri-Cities from 2000-2010.

Mick played three seasons of semi pro hockey in the IHL & ECHL from 1990-1993 before retiring from professional hockey due to injury. Mick was drafted in Round 7 130th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins at the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. 

Mick played two seasons in Vernon from 1984-1986 with the Vernon Lakers before being traded to the Merritt Warriors during the 1985-86 season. Americans Extend Qualifying Offer To Former Viper Finlay:

The ECHL Allen Americans announced July 8th 2024 the team

has extended 2024-25 qualifying offers to two players. One of the two players is former Vernon Vipers forward Liam Finlay.

Finlay has played the past two seasons with the ECHL Allen Americans. The Americans re-signed Finlay July 13th 2023. In 26 games last season, Finlay collected (8-goals-11-assist-19-points).

Finlay recently signed with the Elite Ice Hockey League Glasgow Clan June 18th 2024. The Glasgow Clan (formerly Braehead Clan) is a Scottish professional ice hockey team. It was formed in 2010 as the UK Elite Ice Hockey League expanded into the West of Scotland market, and are based at the Braehead Arena in Renfrewshire. It is currently one of three Scottish clubs playing in the top British league.

Finlay played two seasons in Europe from 2020-2022 playing with four different teams (KOVEE, HK Nitra, Tingsryds AIF & EHC Freiburg) before signing with the ECHL Allen Americans September 27th 2022. Finlay was named to the ECHL 2022-23 All-Rookie team.

Finlay played four years at Denver University from 2016-2020 before signing his first professional contract with Koovee September 7th 2020. Koovee is a Finnish ice hockey team that plays in the Mestis, second-tier league where the team is based in Tampere, Finland. 

Finlay attended the Vancouver Canucks development camp in July 2019.

Finlay played parts of two seasons in Vernon (2014-2016) after coming over in a trade with the Penticton Vees. The Vipers traded the Junior A playing rights of Dakota Conroy & future considerations October 28th 2014 to the Penticton Vees for Liam Finlay. Brownlee's first single "The Best That I Can (Superhero)" was released in November 2009. Brownlee's self-titled debut album, produced by Mitch Merrett, was released in August 2010. Brownlee won the 2011 CCMA Rising Star award winner, also a recipient of his first JUNO Award nomination for Country Album of the Year on February 19, 2013. 

Brownlee played four years at Minnesota State University from 2003-2007 before signing his first professional contract with the ECHL Idaho Steelheads in 2007. Following a series of injuries during the 2007-08 season, Brownlee was forced to retire from professional hockey. In 35 games with the Steelheads, Brownlee collected (1-goal-2-assists-3-points).

Brownlee was drafted in 2003 in the 6th round by the Vancouver Canucks.

Brownlee played two seasons in Vernon with the Vipers from 2001-2003. In 113 games with the Vipers, Brownlee collected (14-goals-28-assists-42-points).

Lord has spent the past four seasons as Head Coach/GM/Dir. of Hockey Operations with the ECHL Greenville Swamp Rabbits. Lord was named the 2023-24 ECHL Coach of the Year. Lord and the Swamp Rabbits finished 1st in the South Division with a record of 44-23-4-1 Greenville made the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season and captured the division title for the first time since 2010-11. Lord is 155-94-39 in the regular season and 14-18 in the postseason. Lord and the Swamp Rabbits lost to Orlando in six games in the South Division Semifinals.

Prior to joining the Swamp Rabbits, Lord spent seven years with the British Elite Ice Hockey League Cardiff Devils from 2013-2020 as player, Head Coach & director of Hockey Operations. The Devils are a Welsh ice hockey team that play in the BEIHL. 

After a scholarship to RPI (Rensselaer Poly Inst) from 2004-2008, Lord spent four years with four different teams in the ECHL & American Hockey League from 2008-2012.  (Wheeling Nailers, Milwaukee Admirals, Okloahoma City Barons & Rochester Americans) Lord missed the entire 2011-12 season due to injury returned the following year playing one season in Germany with SC Riessersee before signing with the British Elite Ice Hockey League Cardiff Devils in 2013.

Lord played two years in Vernon (2002-2004).  The Burnaby Bulldogs traded Lord to Vernon for defenceman Steve Jordan in August 2002. In 116 regular season games with the Vipers Lord collected (22-goals-50-assists-78-points).

The ECHL Jacksonville Icemen announced July 8th the team has extended

2024-25 qualifying offers to eight players. One of the eight players is former Vernon Vipers forward Craig Martin.

Martin has played the past five seasons with the Icemen. In 52 games last season, Martin collected (15-goals-24-assists-39-points).

Martin played his first three seasons with the Icemen before going to Slovakia for the 2022-23 season. Martin split the 2022-23 season with the Jacksonville Icemen & HC Grotto . Martin started the 2022-23 season with HC Grotto after signing with the team June 6th 2022 before signing with the Jacksonville Icemen December 13th 2022. 

HC Grotto is an ice hockey team playing in the Slovak Extraliga. They play in the city of Prešov, Slovakia. In 20 games last season, Martin collected (4-goals-5-assists-9-points).

Martin played four seasons at Quinnipiac University from 2015-2019 before signing his first professional contract with the American Hockey League Springfield Thunderbirds April 2nd 2019. Martin didn't play a game with the Thunderbirds, was released, later signing with the ECHL Adirondak Thunder July 8th 2019. The Thunder traded Martin to Jacksonville November 26th 2019.

Nixon last played professional hockey in the Netherlands in 2006 with the Nijmegen Emperors. Nixon played one season with the 2005-06 Emperors before retiring from professional hockey.
