Leary sounds not to bad and Taylor wasn't really that great anyways.
I was shocked to see the Vipers get five out of a possible six points over the weekend. With fifteen games left, I still don't think they will make the playyoffs
The BCHL website says Koji Gibson was also a part of this trade.
10-Feb-26 The Vernon Vipers have acquired the playing rights to Shawn Leary(05)(D) from the Surrey Eagles in exchange for the playing rights to Taylor Curtis(07)(D), Koji Gibson(07)(F) and future considerations
Leary has some size, is in his second season in the league putting up decent numbers on a not very good Eagles team. Bringing in a veteran 20 year old d-man will hopefully help strengthen the blueline. Curtis didn't impress me much, mad a lot of mistakes and didn't play much.
