I hope the Vipers do the right thing and sell before the trade deadline. Let's be honest, the Vipers are six points out of a playoff spot and no where near a contender this season. The Vipers have just 8 wins this season, have lost eight straight games and have just five wins since October 18th. You think all of a sudden they are going to go on a big streak in their last eighteen games, get into the playoffs and make a long playoff run? Who are you kidding? Even if Vernon does pass Cranbrook and get into the playoffs, it won't last long will face a very strong West Kelowna team in the 1st round. Vernon should be giving their overage players and players that won't be back next season a chance to be in the playoffs and that's trade them before the deadline. Get players in return that want to play in Vernon and want to be here next year. Forget about wishing on making the playoffs, start looking at next season and filling roster spots for next season.
