I noticed that Ryan Flaherty was added by Trail to their roster.
Half the current squad has no Junior experience - should be an interesting year
So trade for guys and cut them? How does that built a reputation for the team?
From what I understand brassard was also signed to play here 25/26.
Who signed him? John Glenn or Matt Cooke
I’m confused. You’re bothered by the fact they cut kids that weren't good enough to be here, but would be more bothered if they didn’t play well but were given a spot. Can’t have both.
I’m willing to bet with all the possible movement from higher levels…there aren’t very many guaranteed spots. It’s a wait and see what shakes loose timeline for all teams right now
Agree it’s a bad look. No one’s going to want to be traded to Vernon
My opinion is don’t take a player on trade if you didn’t have a roster spot for him. Let him be pick up by a team that could use him. I’m betting if he had WHL camp prior to training camp he’d still be there. There seems to be a theme.
Dub camps had 90 plus players! There’s no room for players 19 plus in that league. They have their dynamic 20s…about 6 19s because you don’t want to have that many the year later as 20s…then you fill with 16 and 17s.
By releasing these guys early, it means they have more time to find a place to play.
Not every release is a slap in the face to these players. This franchise needs to win games and the released players need to find homes as early as they can.
Can we please start using names, nicknames, or initials etc something other then Anonymous? With using names I like to see who's a regular on my site and it's easier for fans to reply to someone with a name or initial etc over people using Anonymous. Thank you
Just dont post Anonymous posts, easy!!!
There have been several 2006’s picked up by dub teams this year
