I don't know about this signing. I haven't been impressed with the goaltending so far. The Vipers also need a goal scorer to help the goaltending. I wonder if will see more cuts or moves this week?
Kanat is young and should have time to grow, mature and develop. One thing I noticed at training camp this year was none of the five goaltenders stood out. Gee & Kanat haven't looked bad in the preseason but also haven't stood out. Between the two goaltenders, they allowed fourteen goals in three preseason games.
If Kanat and Gee are the Vipers dynamic duo this year.....Good Luck !!
