Not the biggest kid but noticed he put up 76 pts during the 2022-23 season with Fond du Lac Springs High and put up 44 pts last season with the North American Hockey League Chippewa Steel. The Vipers are in desperate need of scoring, lets hope Blanck can bring some scoring to the Vipers lineup.
In all my years of watching Junior hockey in Vernon I have never seen so much turnover during one season. The amount of committed players no longer with the team, the amount of players returning from last season gone and just the overall amount of players coming and going is just crazy! You can't tell me this has to do with the new NCAA rules. The Vipers have lost only three players to major junior hockey. It could be anything from poor management, to kids not liking the coaches to kids wanting out that don't want to play for a team near the bottom of the standings. Whatever the reasoning of the player turnover is, it's not much fun being a Vipers fan this season.
After the Vipers parted ways with Jason McKee last season and Lukas Lomicky/Colton Sparrow took over the team, I was very impressed with how much better the Vipers looked/played and how well they finished the season. With a fresh start I was really looking forward to this season but from the drop of the puck, this season has been a huge disaster and major disappointment from a season ticket holders perspective. I didn't see this coming.
Players leave because they can’t play for incompetent coaches. Simple. Multiple D1 committed players with huge roles on the team just left. Why? Other D1 commits not used so request trade or release. Why? Coaches lie to recruits and obviously can’t coach at this level so they continue the revolving door of players. Lol! It won’t stop until there are coaches who know what they are doing in charge.

6pts in 22 games for the Musketeers?, NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!
