I watched the Vipers game online this afternoon. Another game, another loss. The Capitals jumped on the Vipers early and often, scoring fifteen seconds into the game as Cowichan was by far the better team in the 1st period, outplayed Vernon. I thought the Snakes re-grouped and played a much better 2nd period and were the better team in the 2nd and 3rd periods. The Snakes had lots of good looks/opportunities, missed the net often and can't score. It's early but this Viper team can't score and don't have anyone that is a proven goal scorer. The Vipers power play struggled today, going 1-7

I thought Former Viper Carter Streek looked good and had a couple of opportunities vs his former team. Both Streek and former Viper Linden Burrett were chirping the Vipers through out the game. No matter how the team is improving or playing better etc at the end of the day, the Vipers have one win in eight games. That's simply just not good enough.

Does anyone know why Adam Csabi isn't playing and only played three games this year?

The Vipers road trip continues tomorrow vs the winless Blackfalds Bulldogs.

There use to be a proven scout for talent with a first name or last called black who had the talent of bringing in Proven goal scorers and high end talent. Perhaps the Glens need to open there wallets and hire such a man as to giving us the quality of players we need such as proven go to goal scorers. I am just sayin

Larry Black was a scout with the Vernon Vipers before leaving and joining the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. Black passed away in 2014

Perhaps some body like black is out there the glens could employ. Sparrow could concentrate more on being an assistant coach.Maybe a change is needed for a proven scout.
