Estevan's backup goalie, 18-year-old Cam Hrdlica, had a sensational rookie campaign for the Bruins. He appeared in 22 regular season games, winning 18, losing one in regulation and losing one in overtime. His 1.71 goals against average and .935 save percentage were helped by posting five shutouts. Those numbers were better than the veteran Bilous's regular season stats.

In a pair of two brief playoff appearances, the Calgary product didn't do as well as in the regular season but he will provide excellent goaltending for Estevan next year. In the meantime Bilous and Hrdlica provide a formidable goalie duo at the Centennial Cup.
