This was certainly a well kept secret. It was not announced at the Wednesday game and only mentioned last night when the 3 stars were announced and the fans were rushing to leave. Let's hope enough fans are aware of this event that we see as many teddies as in previous years.
It was mentioned in a previous comment regarding the food bank drive at the Penticton Retro night and the lack of notices. It was a dismal response probably because no one had hear about it. Result was an Epic Fail.
If the Vipers are planning an event and want their fans to support it they must step up their messaging. Season ticket holders receive newsletters, why not message a reminder of important events or talk it up at the games?
You are definitely correct about short notice. I'm a season ticket holder and got the Email this morning!
