Cougars Trade Ex Viper Kjemhus To Moose Jaw:

The Western Hockey League Prince George Cougars have traded former Vernon Vipers forward Kjell Kjemhus to the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Kjemhus started skating with the Vipers late September before signing with the Vipers October 2nd 2018. Kjemhus had one assist in ten games with the Vipers. The Cougars signed Kjemhus November 1st 2018.

Cougars Acquire Seventh-Round Selection from Moose Jaw

The Prince George Cougars Hockey Club has traded forward Kjell Kjemhus (’01) to the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for a seventh-round selection in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft, the team announced Monday.

In five games this season Kjemhus had two assists and 14 penalty minutes. In 28 career games with the Cougars, the Grand Prairie, Alberta, product had two goals and six points. Kjemhus was acquired by the Cougars from the Regina Pats in January of last season.

After today’s trade the Cougars’ roster now sit at 23 players: 13 forwards, eight defencemen, and two goalies.
