Lets take a look at the Vernon Vipers:

The Vernon Vipers return home after a three game road trip where they went 2-1-0-0 The Vipers are coming off a 4-2 loss Sunday afternoon in Coquitlam sit in 2nd place three points back of Penticton and are four points up on 3rd place Salmon Arm.  Vernon has won four of their last five and are 7-2-1-0 in their last ten games.  The Vipers have points in twelve of their last fourteen games.  Vernon will play three of their final four games before the Christmas break at home.  The Vipers are undefeated in their last six home games.  Viper fans are seeing the Smokies for the second game in a row after Vernon's last home game was a 6-3 victory over Trail on December 1st.

Lets take a look at the Trail Smoke Eaters:

The Trail Smoke Eaters make their third visit of the season to Kal Tire Place are coming off a 3-2 loss in Penticton Wednesday night.  Tonight is the second game of a five game road trip for Trail who sits in last place in the Interior Division.  The Smoke Eaters have lost eight straight and are 2-8-0-0 in their last ten games.  Trail has just two wins in their last twenty games have lost four straight on the road.  The Smokies are the lowest scoring team with just 80 goals and are second in the league with 138 goals against.  Trails last win was a 3-2 overtime victory over Salmon Arm on November 16th.
