Former Viper MacMurchy Extends Contract With EHC Biel:

Former Vernon Vipers forward, Ryan MacMurchy has extended his contract with EHC Biel (German). EHC Biel is a professional hockey club based in the bilingual city of Biel/Bienne, Switzerland and plays in the National League A. MacMurchy started the season with HC Red Ice after committing to the Red Ice back on April, 21st 2012 before signing with EHC Biel. In 24 games this season with Red Ice MacMurchy collected (18-12-30).  In 7 games this season with EHC Biel MacMurchy has (7-3-10).    

MacMurchy played last season in Norway with the Stavanger Oilers. In 44 regular season games MacMurchy collected (37-39-76). MacMurchy played one season in Vernon (2000-2001) collecting (4-16-20) in 55 regular season games with the Vipers. MacMurchy was selected by the St. Louis Blues in round 9 #284 overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

Ryan MacMurchy remains with the EHCB 

The EHC Biel has redeemed the option on a contract lengthening with Canadian forward Ryan MacMurchy (27.04.1983). Therefore the forward remains in the coming season 13/14 with the EHCB. In the tramped season MacMurchy has achieved 12 Skorerpunkte (8 gates / 4 Assists) after his change of Martigny to Biel in 10 plays.

With Ahren Spylo and Ryan MacMurchy the EHC Biel has taken for the season 13/14 two of four foreign positions.
