Freezers Re-Sign Former Viper Forward Festerling:

Former Vernon Vipers forward Garrett Festerling has signed a
one-year contract extension with the Hamburg Freezers (Germany DEL).  Festerling has 12 goals and 21 assists in 43 games for the Freezers this season.  Festerling played parts of two seasons in Vernon (2002-2004) before leaving the Vipers for the WHL Portland Winterhawks.  In 77 regular season games with the Vipers Festerling collected (12-25-37).

F Garrett Festerling (Portland, Regina, 2003-07) signed a one-year contract extension with the Hamburg Freezers (Germany, DEL). He has 12 goals and 21 assists in 43 games for the Freezers this season. Festerling also has made five appearances with the German National Team this season, getting one goal and one assist. Festerling was under contract with Hamburg through the 2013-14 season, so this extension keeps him under contract through the 2014-15 season.
