This is posted on the Vimmerby Tigers website:

Today arrives American hill Sean Perkins to Vimmerby for two weeks of test exercise.

It will not cost the club anything to have him here. He will have to pay the airfare, accommodations and food, said Jan-Erik Modigs in VH's board to Vimmerby Tidning.

If it turns out to be the right guy for us, it is not at all impossible that he plays here in the winter, but it must not be a player in the crowd. It must be a good player that raises the bar.

Sean Perkins is a 25 year old right, which is 175 cm tall and weighs 86 kg. Perkins is from Michigan and has played in both the ECHL and CHL, which belongs to the senior leagues in North America in the NHL, and with Edinburgh in the EIHL.

Last season, Perkins played with Odense in the Danish top division. There he was the team's best points back, including the Danish World Cup slopes Michael Eskesen, former landslagsbacken Mats Schaarup and Leksand icon Örjan Lindmark.

Our new range of colleagues, Gislaved NS, could hardly accept the free places.
