Former Laker Lindsay Recognized By Panthers:

Former Vernon Lakers forward, Bill Lindsay was recognized for his Florida Panthers career including his playoff series-clinching goal against Boston on April 27, 1996 as part of the ADT Panthers Heroes program Saturday night before the Florida Panthers and New Jersey Devils game. Lindsay played one season in Vernon with the Lakers (1988-89).

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that on Saturday, Jan. 15 when the Florida Panthers host the New Jersey Devils, former Panthers forward and current FOX Sports Florida color analyst Bill Lindsay will be recognized for his Panthers career including his playoff series-clinching goal against Boston on April 27, 1996 as part of the ADT Panthers Heroes program.

Lindsay will be recognized pregame while conducting the ceremonial puck drop, appearing for a second intermission autograph signing in the South Florida Hockey Den of Honor presented by ADT, and more.

ADT Security Services and the Florida Panthers have teamed up for the ADT Panthers Heroes program, which recognizes people and moments that have made a significant contribution to the Florida Panthers Hockey Club. The first ADT Panthers Heroes night recognized legendary goaltender John Vanbiesbrouck on Nov. 10, 2010.
