For Immediate Release

The Revelstoke Grizzlies announce that Troy Mick has resigned as GM/Head Coach of the Grizzlies effective as of today. Troy will continue on as part of the ownership group in Revelstoke and added these comments…

This past season was a great experience for me personally having taken a group of young men and made champions of them and showing to all people that the town of Revelstoke is one of the best Junior cities in Canada to play for.

I want to thank the current ownership (Mike Roberts, Lewis & Leanne Hendrickson & Joe Kozek) for letting me be a part of it and to continue to be a part of it, to the players I thank you for representing the town of Revelstoke with class all year long and giving it your all in becoming the Western Canadian Champions!

To all my hockey staff (Jeff Pont, Darren Komonoski, Kellie Christy, Rob Miskiman, Cory Cameron, Bruce & Cheryl Fry & Don Watt for volunteering so many hours as we would have never done it without you and also to the off ice staff, (Dennis Baraducci) (Tammy & Courtney Kaler) the booster club, off ice officials, game night staff) for keeping things smooth as we played. The media for keeping all of Revelstoke informed (Steve Smith) Easy Rock & (Mavis Cann) Revelstoke Times Review.

A special thank you to the Billets, Sponsors, Trans Canada Fitness and to Revelstoke Secondary School for all of your continued support of our hockey program. I will always remember this special year that we shared together as those banners in the arena will always hold a special part of my heart.

Thank you

Troy Mick
