Royal Bank Cup: Semi-Final: Dauphin 6 La Ronge 2

I went down to the rink tonight and watched the Dauphin Kings (5-0) knock off the La Ronge Ice Wolves (1-4) in todays other semi-final. With the win Dauphin will now play the defending National Champion Vernon Vipers in the RBC Cup Final tomorrow at 2pm wich is live on TSN 2. A jam packed Credit Union Place witnessed the hometown Kings out score the Ice Wolves 6-2. La Ronge carried the better of the play in the 1st but were down 1-0. Dauphin come ready to play in the 2nd and outplayed La Ronge for most of the period going up 3-0 but give the Ice Wolves credit they battled back in the final few minutes cutting the lead to 3-2. In the 3rd the Kings offence and overall skill was too much for the Ice Wolves who had troubles getting any real good chances. The Kings who struggled on the draw tonight in the end the better team. La Ronge won most of the battles and races to the puck, but in the end didnt have the offence to keep up with the Kings. La Ronge seem to struggle offensively all tournament putting pucks in the net.
