Day 2 Report From Vernon Vipers Spring ID Camp:

I stopped by Kal Tire Place North this morning to watch both games/scrimmages.

The first game this morning saw Team Red beat Team Green 10-4 and in the second game today saw Team Black beat Team Yellow 7-2 in front of small crowds.

Each game/scrimmage is two twenty five minute periods with a fifteen minute three on three 3rd period.

I saw a few good players this morning. A couple of players stood out. None of the goaltenders really stood out in my opinion. Not much to report, especially with no rosters/lineups available.

Vipers owner John Glen and Head Coach Lukas Lomicky along with Assistant Coaches Dean McAmmond and Eric Morrissette were in attendance.

Former Vernon Lakers goaltender Sean Matile and former Vernon Vipers Assistant Coach/Head Coach Joe Oliver were also in attendance.

Day 1 Report From Vernon Vipers Spring ID Camp:

I stopped by Kal Tire Place North this evening to watch the final two games/scrimmages from opening day of Vipers Spring ID Camp.

Each game/scrimmage is three periods. The first two periods are twenty five minutes, with a 14 minute three on three 3rd period.

The first game saw Team Black defeated Team Red 7-6 in front of a fairly large crowd, while in the final game/scrimmage of the night saw Team Yellow defeat Team Green 6-3 in a much smaller crowd.

Vipers Head Coach Lukas Lomicky and Assistant Coaches Eric Morrissette/Dean McAmmond & owner John Glen were in attendance.

Not much to report. It's hard to follow the kids with no rosters/lineups. I did see a lot of kids that can skate, have some speed and a few skilled players as well.
