Grimes has some size but not a lot of points. I noticed the Chilliwack Chiefs signed Grimes over the summer, so why are they getting rid of him?

Are the Vipers done making changes or will we see them more active before the trade deadline?

I don't like the way the league is going with players coming and going daily. Will it all stop next season or will this be the new trend? This has to change the way teams recruit and who your recruiting. If this continues I don't know how the league and teams will survive.

and they finally took Binkley off the roster today

Die Hard, I believe upon review of this season the management team of the BCHL will make the changes necessary as to make it an attractive league for young hockey players to come to regards there development and future. If these changes are not made it is possible this league will be a distant memory and for the owners who invested alot of money it will be sad as there investment will be down the toilet. Time will tell.

What does "recruiting" even mean anymore? What does "commitment" mean anymore? What is the point? The BCHL is just one long training camp now. I think this league is in big trouble unless they can re-discover some form of stability. Yes, NCAA rules changes are a factor but it all really started with the severing of ties with Hockey Canada by this league. From a premier feeder league to education to a glorified beer league, minus the beer, due to one bad decision. Time will tell how long this league survives.
