I watched the Bandits/Vipers game on flohockey. It was all Bandits for most of the game. Brooks was the better team in the first two periods. I thought the Vipers had some good shifts and a couple of quality opportunities in the 1st period but couldn't capitalize on their chances, otherwise a lot of the play was in Vernon's end in the first two periods. The Bandits blew the game open in the 2nd period before taking their foot off the gas in the 3rd as the Vipers carried the better of the play in the 3rd and were able to generate some offence and chances.

The Bandits are 4-0 vs the Vipers and have outscored the Snakes 26-10 I wasn't surprised with the game or the outcome. The Bandits are in a league of their own and a much much better hockey team. For a team that has had players come and go on a weekly basis this season, I don't know how this team is suppose to gain any traction with so much turnover. Over half of the team is basically new within the past month or so. The Bandits have basically had the majority of their team together since training camp, where as this is basically training camp for the Vipers with players still getting to know each other, a team trying to build chemistry, bond together and build systems etc. How are they suppose to do this, this late in the season? They can't, the season is basically over. The Vipers do have some good players and some players with some talent, the problem is it's too little too late. This season has been a complete disaster since the start of the season, I have never seen a Vernon team like it before in all of my years following this team.

The Vipers have lost six straight games for a second time this season

The Vipers have yet to win three games in a row this season

When the opponents score first, the Vipers are 3-23

The Vipers are 1-15 when trailing after the 1st period

The Vipers are 2-21 when trailing after the 2nd period

There has been nothing to be positive about and nothing to be excited about this season. With ten games remaining, the way the Vipers have been playing (four wins in their last twenty two games) they will be lucky if they win two or three games at most.

I feel bad for the players. They should not have been treated so poorly by ownership and coaches. This season has put a black mark on the Vipers that could take years to recover from.

The Vipers are now 11 points back of West Kelowna for the final playoff spot after Okotoks moved into 7th place with a 4-3 win over Spruce Grove this afternoon

So, Vipers need @ least 6 Wins and Warriors need to not win any?
