Well, well, well, that is interesting, if he actually plays for the Vees this weekend then, that tells me he had issues playing for the Vipers organization.

It will be interesting to see what changes are made with BCHL league for next season. With a first class organization like penticton leaving our league it makes you wonder why. Is it because they feel they need more structure in there organization as it use to be with hockey canada as to avoiding the coming and going of players at will and that they felt the change was better for its players regards there future. All very interesting.

Well that’s interesting. My understanding is the vees initiated the BCHL leaving hockey Canada. And now they’re leaving when it gets messy.

Even if they did initiate the move from BCHL, at that time no one knew NCAA would make the changes they just did. The advantage of being in the BCHL for NCAA scholarships is no longer.

If the Vees are jumping to the WHL I'm not sure how they are going to support the team with a city which is Senior citizen driven and your average starting price for a seat starting at $28 plus their FREE ticket promotions for students would probably be over as well.

I have been told by my sources, the Vees will join the Western Hockey League next season as an expansion team. The Vees will have to pay Bruce Hamilton and the Kelowna Rockets some kind of fee and the Western Hockey League an expansion fee

Obviously was in the works pre NCAA announcement.

and the Vees also did not like the Hockey Canada rules for the JrA BCHL at the time, hence the independent league. Those same rules did not apply to the WHL so, they would be in the exact same position in the WHL that they are now in with the BCHL.

I'll give the Glenn's $10,000 for the Vipers. No they say? Well just as well, it will be easy to form my own junior A team and rejoin Hockey Canada. How is that for buying a lemon Johnny? You will still own the Vipers but will have NOWHERE to play. Thankfully this is the last season of the Glenn's in Vernon... True story

Vipers are second in the BCHL in attendance this season, averaging just under 2400 fans per game, putting them behind only Penticton; exactly what is your definition of a ‘lemon’?

Nobody would sell a Junior hockey team for $10,000

What are you saying? We are getting another Junior hockey team?
