Departing heroes

After victory parties at City Hall on Tuesday and at the Wesbild Centre on Wednesday, the Vipers are making plans to return to their homes for the summer.

A number of Vipers have exhausted their Jr. eligibility and/or have committed to college for next year. In a tradition started last year, this website will feature a series called "Departing Heroes," in which each hero will be profiled.

There will be two articles a week, posted on Mondays and Thursdays. The first will feature Captain Kevin Kraus; the second will chronicle the impressive career of Rob Short, the all-time leader in Viper games played.

Then, the players will appear in order of their longevity with the Vipers:
