Centennials Sign Former Viper Tryout Defenceman Saunders:

The Merritt Centennials have signed former Vernon Vipers tryout defenceman John Saunders. Saunders played last season with the KIJHL North Okanagan Knights & five games as an "AP" with the Vernon Vipers. Saunders attended the 2010 Sun Valley Showcase in Vernon and the Vipers Training camp last year and again this year.  Saunders played in three pre-season games with the Vipers this year before being released.
