Former Vernon Vipers forward Rod Pelley has re-signed with the New Jersey Devils. Pelley played one season in Vernon (2001-02) before playing four years at Ohio State University.This was posted on the Devils website:

Rod Pelley was a surprise name on the NHL's unrestricted free agent list today, but the Devils have now re-signed the forward.
Pelley played 63 games for the Devils last season and scored 10 points (two goals, eight assists).
