The Alberni Valley Bulldogs would like to announce that they have named 91 F Trent Dorais as Captain of the team for the 2010/11season. Dorais will be joined by newly appointed assistant captains Sam Mitchell and Frank Riddle.
“ We are very excited about naming Trent as Captain. Trent has made great strides on and off the ice in the past year and we feel is the emotional leader of this team, “ comments GM/Head Coach Paul Esdale. “Sam obviously did a great job last season and will be continued to be looked upon as a leader of this team, “ adds Esdale. “Frank, also made great strides last season and has worked hard in the off-season to become an impact defenseman in the league,” said Esdale.
