One Month Till Vipers Season!

One month today until the Vernon Vipers open up their 2010-11 season with the teams training camp getting underway August 23rd. The Vipers will open the regular season with a home and home series vs the Salmon Arm Silverbacks starting Friday, September 10th in Vernon and Saturday, September 11th in Salmon Arm.

Thursday, May 27th- Vipers defenseman Garrett Noonan announced he will not be returning to Vernon this season, after heading to Boston University.

Friday, May 28th- The Vipers signed 18 yr old forward, Todd Skirving for the 2010-11 season.

Tuesday, June 8th- The Vipers signed 17 year old forward, Marcus Basara for the 2010-11 season.

Monday, June 14th- The Vipers announced they traded defenseman, Darrin Robak to the Cowichan Capitals. Robak was the future's part of the Curtis Gedig trade last season.

Tuesday, June 15th- The Vipers signed 17 yr old forward, Darren Nowick & 18 yr old defenseman, Brett Corkey for the 2010-11 season.

Sunday, June 27th- The Vipers announced 20 year old Vernon product, David Robinson was named the Vipers Captain for this coming season.
