The Vernon Vipers Hockey Club is pleased to announce that 17 year old forward Marcus Basara has committed the play for the team.
Last season, Basara played for the Notre Dame Hounds of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey Club who were also able to defend their National Championship. Basara, who hails from Vancouver, led the Notre Dame hounds in scoring. He compiled 37 goals and 28 assists for 65 points in 43 games played.
Basara has very good speed and is very gifted offensively. He has a very good nose for the net and loves to score goals. He has also hit the radar of many other teams including the NCAA and WHL.
The Vernon Vipers are very excited to be able to add a player of Basara’s ability and would like to welcome him to the team. For further information please contact the Vipers office at 250 542 6022.
