The Vernon Vipers are proud to announce that they will be having a Paint The Rink Pink Night on October 21st to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society. The Vipers will wear a limited edition pink jersey, sponsored by First Choice Haircutters, for this one game when they host the Merritt Centennials. All jerseys will be auctioned off to the fans, with all proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society. In addition to the jersey fundraiser the Vernon Vipers players and staff will be donating $2 per Vipers goal on that night, and they are challenging their fans and sponsors to meet or beat their donations. First Choice Haircutters will also be on hand to cut hair for donations; fans wanting to get a trim will be able to do so while they watch the game from ice level. Sponsors are also welcome to participate by calling the Vipers Office and ask how your business can help raise funds by coming to the game. The Vipers will also have a silent auction table with selected Vipers memorabilia, concert tickets and other items for fans to bid on, sponsors are also welcomed to call the Vipers office if they have items they would like to donate. All money raised on October 21st will go directly to the Canadian Cancer Society. For more information please contact the Vipers Office at 250-542-6022.
