McGinley was in his first season with the Sherwood Park Crusaders. In 10 games, McGinley collected (1-goal-2-assists-3-points).
McGinley played parts of two seasons with the 2023-24 & 2024-25 Vernon Vipers. The Vernon Vipers signed McGinley January 11th 2024. The Vipers traded McGinley to Sherwood Park November 14th 2024 for defenceman Jordan Gudridge. In 37 games with the Vipers, McGinley collected (6-goals-11-assists-17-points).
