Hitmen Sign Former Vernon Viper Merner:

The Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen have signed former Vernon

Vipers forward Ethan Merner.

Merner started the 2024-25 season with the Langley Rivermen. In 30 games, Merner collected (12-goals-6-assists-18-points).

Merner played last season with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Sherwood Park Crusaders, was traded to the Langley Rivermen August 6th 2024.

Merner had previously committed to Merrimack College for the 2024-25 season.

Merner played one season in Vernon with the 2022-23 Vernon Vipers. In 38 games with the Vipers, Merner collected (3-goals-7-assists-10-points). Merner left the Vernon Vipers to sign with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Sherwood Park Crusaders June 6th 2023.
