The East Coast Hockey League Norfolk Admirals have released former Vernon Vipers defenceman Marc Hetnik.Hetnik finished his fourth and final season with the UMass Minutemen last year, before signing his first professional contract as a College free agent with the Admirals March 9th 2017. The Admirals re-signed Hetnik July 24th 2017. Hetnik went pointless in six games this season before being released.
Hetnik picked up one assist in five games with the Admirals last year, played two seasons in Vernon (2011-2013). In 112 regular season games with the Vipers Hetnik collected (6-goals-22-assists-28-points).
