Vipers Open Training Camp Today:

Just 116 days after the Vernon Vipers fell short of winning their 7th National Championship, with a 2-0 loss to the 2011 RBC Cup Champion Pembroke Lumber Kings the Vernon Vipers begin a new season looking for a fourth straight appearence in the RBC Cup, starting today with the clubs first day of training camp.

The Vipers will hold training camp today and tomorrow at the Wesbild Centre with inter-squad games going tonight and tomorrow night both games at 6pm and then the teams Blue & White game wich will be played Saturday night also at 6pm.

Due to work and other plans, I was unable to get out to the rink today to catch any of opening day of training camp as well as the inter-squad game this evening. I did however get a copy of the Vipers lineup sheet-roster from todays training camp.

I have heard that Vipers defenceman, Luke Juha is injured and not playing & Defenceman, Justin Elliott who was aquired in a trade from the SJHL Kindersley Klippers has been released.
