Former Vipers Head Coach-GM Mark Ferner Picks Up First Pre-Season Win With Silvertips:

Former Vernon Vipers head coach-gm, Mark Ferner picked up his first pre-season victory as the new head coach of the WHL Everett Silvertips with a 7-4 win over the visiting Seattle Thunderbirds tonight. Ferner spent the last four seasons with the Vipers (2007-2010) before joining the Silvertips this summer. Ferner and the Silvertips now move to 1-2 in exibition play.
