Former Vipers Head Coach-GM Mark Ferner Drops Pre-Season Opener:

Former Vernon Vipers head coach-gm, Mark Ferner made his Everett Silvertips head coaching debut tonight in a 5-2 pre-season loss to the Tri-City Americans. Ferner spent the last four seasons with the Vipers (2007-2010) before joining the Silvertips this summer. Ferner wont have to wait long to get another shot at his first pre-season victory with the Tips, as Everett hosts the Spokane Chiefs Saturday night.
