Tonight is the 3rd meeting of the season between these two teams but the first in regular season play after the Vernon Vipers defeated the Westside Warriors twice in overtime during the pre-season. Vernon ended the Warriors season in six games last year in the Interior Semi-Finals. The Warriors started the 50th BCHL regular season with three straight away from home, Westside now 3-0 faces the defending BCHL Champion Vernon Vipers in their home opener. The Vipers started the season 2-0 after back to back wins over Salmon Arm and finish up a mini two game road trip tonight with a visit to Royal Le Page Place.
