Prince Albert-Chilliwack Trade:
One small trade from Monday as the Prince Albert Raiders dealt F Brendan Persley to Chilliwack for a 13th-round pick in the 2010 bantam draft. Persley,a 16-year-old from Kelowna, was an eighth-round pick in the 2008 draft. He has 25 points in 18 games with the junior B Penticton Lakers of the Kootenay International junior league.
Persley started the season with the BCHL's Vernon Vipers before being assigned to the KIJHL's Penticton Lakers back on October 15th. Since then Persley has been called up as an "AP" player with the Vipers playing in two games since being assigned with Penticton.
